Leicester city of Sanctuary is currently seeking a new volunteer to head up our kitchen and lead our small team in preparing meals for asylum seekers and refugees during our Wednesday drop-in. It’s not just about getting food onto plates though – we would ideally like somebody able to train our existing volunteers in food hygiene and basic food preparation; these are important skills that will help them as they continue their lives in the UK.
