All services below can be found at The Open Hands Compassion Centre, (19 Lower Willow Street, Leicester, LE1 2HP).
- Pie Night: Free hot meal available to anyone in need, Tuesdays 7pm.
- Food Store: Free and reduced cost food on receipt of a referral. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am – 12pm (latest arrival 11:30am). Emergency food parcels canbe collected on Wednesdays 10am-12pm.
- Drop-In Session: Provision of clothing, bedding and household goods on receipt of a referral. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am – 12pm (latest arrival 11:30am).
- Furniture Service: Appointments available for booking on receipt of a furniture referral form.
Referrals for can be made by someone who knows the household on a professional basis (not family or friend), e.g. support worker, social worker, housing officer, child’s school teacher or doctor. Referees can request a copy of the necessary referral forms by emailing [email protected]
