Leicester City of Sanctuary had a recent trip to the King Power Stadium with a group of Asylum Seekers – four adults and 5 children! Everybody had a great had a great afternoon watching Leicester City Women play Everton Women, and whilst the game ended in a 0-0 draw the match was packed full of exciting moments and displays of footballing skill.
Even better, as everyone was leaving the ground, some of the City players who very kindly posed for photos to be taken with the children which was extremely exciting for them! Leicester City of Sanctuary is of course very grateful to the Football Club for their welcoming, hospitality and the wonderful experienced provided for all!
